Public Commission in London
Nicolas has been commissioned by Bellway Homes and the Catholic Church to undertake a large public commission for Church Green, Canton Street, London. Nicolas is to create a new sculptural public space that at its centre will see his largest light sculpture to date. Watch out for further updates about this exciting project.
Discerning Eye
The Selectors of this years Discerning Eye exhibition have selected four new works by Nicolas for this years show that opens at the Mall Galleries, London on the 4th November-10th November.
International Sculpture Show
Nicolas has been invited to take part in an International Sculpture Show that will take place at St. Agostino, Pietrasanta, Italy between 26th March - 10th April 2011. Nicolas will be one of 25 sculptors from 12 different counties that will reflect the diverse International flavour of European Sculpture today. There is to be a comprehensive colour catalogue to accompany the show.
Nicolas would like to thank Creative Northants in Northamptonshire who have Awarded him one of their Bursary Grants to help facilitate this opportunity.
Nicolas becomes the winner of the "People's Choice" award at the National Sculpture Prize Exhibition 2010
An exhibition of the nominated artist's work will take place at The Bluecoat Gallery 13th August- 25 September 2010.
